It is Sunday morning - the candle is lit to signify the presence of the Holy Spirit - God with us. The journey has well and truly begun. Pastor Pat has started the service after our very pregnant musician, Takako, was a bit late joining us as she had been rear ended on her way to church. You can see she is holding her back. I spent a lot of the hour+ in tears - tears of sheer joy. After almost 7 1/2 months we are worshiping in the new Norwood Presbyterian Church as a congregation of the faithful.
Yesterday it was the old Hudson Car Showroom. Today, it is sacred ground.
I am so pleased for you and your church to have once again a permanent establishment of worship --may you as a Church flourish and grow -and my best wishes and prayers are with you all in your House of God -- A lovely capture Cathy !
This is such a beautiful sight.....I know how you have grieved & prayed for your church & it's new chapter. A wonderful day for you all....shame about Takako......hope she has no repercussions! Hope your church flourishes & grows!
