The Bee

I love this time of year. Perennials are on sale and I take this time to fill in my garden. Last year while Maggie was still with me she terrorized the garden looking for bunnies. I lost quite a few plants to her rooting through. The Aussies are doing a good job of staying out of the garden so I think it is safe to plant again. This new to me plant immediately attracted the bees.

These Heleniums are one of my favourite flowers. So colourful and reliable. If you dead head them, you always get a second flush of flowers. Lovely.
