I haven't had my camera in my hands lately. Even this is a phone shot of a cactus flower that opened on my deck. I have been keeping cactus for several years now and started with the succulents last year to join the craze. I do enjoy them in the winter to give me something to focus on. This will close up tonight and open all over again tomorrow.

We were all at my son's house Sunday for dinner as they knew my back was bothering me. My 14 year old grandson, Garrett, just tested positive for COVID. We are all vaccinated so it will be interesting to see what happens. G feels fine - just can't taste anything. Great way to begin his summer vacation. I am so thankful that he doesn't have all of the symptoms that were possible.
I dear - thank goodness for the vaccination and that he is young but a bummer if he has to start his vacation isolating.

I hope his quarrantine time goes quickly and there are no more symptoms. He's young so he'll probably weather the virus just fine. I'll be praying for him. Beautiful flower.
