Bella is having babies! No, I don't name all my plants. She is special. When we visited Sedona about 2 years ago I discovered purple prickly pear cactus. I wanted one really badly. We went to a local nursery but soon realized that it was much more for large landscaping projects and contractors. We ran into the nicest guy and I asked him if he had small ones. He smiled at me and told Tom to follow him. I waited and pretty soon they came back. With this huge piece of cactus wrapped in newspaper. I thanked him and asked what I owed him. He said nothing - just take it and be happy. He told us his name was Abel - pronounced able as in happy to serve. We were trying to figure out how to get her home. We went to a UPS in Durango and had her shipped to Cincinnati. When she got her there was a note on top of the box from the lady at the store telling us how nice it is to meet nice people. So, Bella is having babies!!
Terrific shot especially of the babies and what a wonderful story! You meet the nicest people but then I suspect it is because you are so nice to start with!
What a lovely story Cathy…..I can’t actually see Bella at the moment as she hasn’t loaded but git a quick glimpse before I tapped on your post. I hope the babies thrive & provide you with grandchildren too! 🤣🤣
