We are almost there. Joseph is wandering around Bethlehem trying to find somewhere that will find room for his very pregnant wife - who is probably feeling the beginning pangs of birth - to get off of the donkey and lay down. Are they bickering with one another, or so very aware of fulfilling the prophecies of Isaiah. Besides having the son of God born into the house of David, as was foretold, Joseph is waiting to fulfill his role in the story and name the child Emanuel, God with us.

It is freezing here in Ohio. I think we made it over the 0 degree mark this morning. Tom had to go out and break up the feed in the feeders for the very cold birds.
