Solitude by chejja

Solitude

I spotted this woman sitting alone in the lobby of the Guitar Hotel at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. I liked the way she was framed by the water feature behind her, where water flows between two pieces of clear glass. She had her bags with her, so I had to wonder if she had just arrived or if she was waiting for someone to pick her up after her stay. Either way, I hope she enjoyed her time at the hotel.
Your title is perfect, lovely candid shot and story telling. I too often wonder what the story behind such a scene is.

It is sort of a lonely shot... says a lot about travel during COVID.

Hello Carolie, we are partners for get-pushed this week. I am hosting the current artist challenge as well, so my push for you is to try a blurry faux landscape in the style of Frances Seward and tag it for both challenges.... http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/44326/artist-challenge-frances-seward

@kali66 Hi, Kali. Ok, I will give your challenge a shot. I see a possible visit to the beach in my near future (if the weather cooperates). For your challenge this week, how about composing a still life that reflects Thanksgiving or gratitude.

@chejja ok will do
btw the beauty of my challenge to you is that you dont have to go anywhere, its just colour and light that has a landscape or colourfield effect, i hope you take a look at her work through the link so you know what i mean
