This photo was taken at Smither Park in Houston, Texas, an outdoor park filled with a number of walls and projects covered with mosaics and a few other recycled materials. Over one hundred people have contributed to the artwork in this park. While we were there, we got to speak with this couple who were working on this beautiful mosaic project. They, along with one other person, have been voluntarily working on this project since 1912.
How interesting! I didn't know of this park although I have lived there for 7 years! We plan to move back next summer and will make a point to visit it then!
