Today my friend John and I hiked up to Etiwanda Falls in the North Etiwanda Preserve. I took a lot of photos of the Falls, but none of them jumped out at me today. The sunset was not spectacular, although it was pretty and left a multitude of colors in the sky as it darkened. I chose this photo today to show off our snow covered mountains that are near-by, but still do not hinder our 70 degree weather and hiking trails. A lovely day out hiking - the NEP, as always!
It is one of the things I love about living in Southern California. You can get to snow in the morning and be out of it in the afternoon. Let's here it for elevation.
I love that within 20 minutes I can be at the mountains, within 30 minutes I can be in the desert and within 40 minutes I can be at the beach from where I live; one of the great things about Southern California.
