Out of it's element

I brought this precious stone home from summer holidays. I was looking for a special spot to take a picture, and decided to put it in a snow leftovers in my yard, as something that is almost impossible to happened in nature. Snow falls very rarely on our coast and not really next to the sea, and even then it melts quickly.. And I am happy that winter is finally letting go. Until yesterday everything was frozen, and now we have almost spring temperatures, everything is melting away suddenly under south wind. No wonder I am not feeling well, but I am happy in my heart and soul.
What an amazing stone :-)

great heart! I think it's coral from the ocean. I have some we found on the beach in Florida.

@lynnz, thank you for comment, and for liking it. It is just a "regular" stone found in Adriatic sea. It is pretty typical type of stone that gets "eaten" by the sea. I love them very much. The strong hard stones turning to lace...

Interesting juxtaposition of summer and winter and interesting writing.
