The original souvenir from Zagreb, and the area around. It is actually a little cookie, but not edible. They are glazed, and uniquely decorated by hand. There is always a little mirror, other details can vary. Originally they have some love verses, romantic or funny, but I couldn't find anything in english. You can find those hearts with the name of the city or something, as a souvenir. They make them in other shapes as well, and they are often used as traditional christmas decoration. I remember such a tree from my childhood.
