Spring signs from childhood

Ever since I was a little kid this bush made me stop for it's color. No matter how ugly the weather might be this was always my personal sign that spring has definitely come!

Extremely lovely photo of the flower, although I find myself wanting to delete the insect. The background is so beautiful with the soft yellow blossoms. A very nice composition.

Do you mean this is the exact same bush you saw as a child or just the same kind of bush (forsythia?) I love your stories with your photos.

My city is fool of them, every green surface, every park has it, so you basically see them anywhere you go, and whenever I see it I get same impact:! PS: Tulips in my garden opened yesterday...
