Franky

A story
Franky is a nick name for old public city water pumps that don't function any more. Group of artists decided to turn what is left of them into a street art project... It is a great way to preserve the history of everyday's life and connect the old with the new.
The face of a character from Stripy cartoon goes with today's weather... (I am sick of gloom and clouds and rain)
Such colorful and fun subjects to brighten up a dull day (it's dull here too, though there has been a bit of a sunset - which I've missed because if the school run 😳) Love the expression on the cartoon characters face 😀😀

Fun street art. Many years ago there was a group who went through and painted all our street fire hydrants into characters.
