Sundown, Easter Sunday by chikadnz

Sundown, Easter Sunday

Today was Easter Sunday, April Fool's Day, and the end of Daylight Saving here. We had to put the clocks back an hour which meant my night shift lasted an hour longer. Later in the day after a sleep I went down to the waterfront at Fergusson Park to catch the sunset. This was a rare day, because I also saw the sunrise this morning while at work (and as my husband will tell you, I'm not a morning person)!
This is really pretty. I can relate to not being a morning person!!

Lovely colour and water capture. Love the lines created by the waves.

@dide He is always telling me to get out and photograph in the morning! I have to admit there is often better light. :-)
@helenw2 @happypat @dkbarnett Thanks for your comments.

Beautifull! The colours are gliding over the waves as if it was meant to be captured by someone, you did a great job on that. I find it fun to see shots from your life all the way in New Zealand, here in the Netherlands we got an extra hour of sunlight in the evening now, so I couldn't be happier :P Fav.

@ribelmay Thanks for commenting. We have just gone back to standard time a couple of weeks ago, so now it gets dark here an hour earlier!
