The weather was better today, sunny but with a cold wind. We decided to make a quick visit to a local park, but called in to check on one of our geocaches nearby first. This was part of the view from what is known as 'ground zero' in geocaching terms.
You play geocaching? I have heard of it and it sounds a lot of fun but have never done it. I like the simplicity of this. Poplars always remind me of the long avenues in northern France on very straight roads, along which you can find the most immaculate war cemeteries. The roads go on for miles and poplars like this line the route both sides. So tall, so beautiful.
@casablanca Yes we do, we haven’t done so much lately due to being busy with getting the house ready for sale and moving into the motorhome, then the Covid-19 lockdown when the hobby was actively discouraged because of it’s potential to spread the virus. I especially enjoy solving puzzles to find the coordinates. Unfortunately this didn’t help me solve your recent puzzles! You should check it out at geocaching.com and see if there’s anything near your place.
