As a child we had a white Pekin (sp?) duck, called Mr Peepers after the 1950s, or was it early 1960s TV show. One day Mr Peepers laid an egg, so he was now called just Peepers. But I still think of our egg laying duck as a HE. Kid logic.
@trinda Interesting... We had a pair of geese and when one was killed we thought it was the boy, but then the following year got no eggs. So this picture is of Felicity who is probably male!
