Tracks in the Snow

A continuation of my snowy photos. This was my favorite of the weekend. I can check the railroad tracks picture off my bucket list. If you view it large you can see the red lights and a train that had just passed by.
Terrific tones and disappearing perspective.

sepia tones seem to suit railroad tracks so perfectly!

Wonderful picture! I'm just not brave enough to go tramping through the snow - even if we had any this year - which we don't !

Oh, that's awesome.

@ladykassy46 - Thanks, Kathleen. Me either. I asked my husband to stop at a railroad crossing to take this picture. I didn't even want to do that alone.

Just thinking of the cold steel rails makes me have a chill. I like the subtle red lights - I had to look twice to see them. Nice shot

Very good shot... but may I say that I don't miss the snow at all... rs rs rs... better seen in pics, like yours.

Great shot Cindy. I love the lines they draw the eye right in. Lovely tones, almost a vintage feel and the red lights top it off nicely. Love it. Fav!!

Another fav! Awesome, especially catching it right after the train passed. Yep, railroads and otters still remain on my bucket list as well as a closeup of a pileated woodpecker ;-)))

I love how the red lights feel like the only real color in the picture. Great job with this image.

I love shots of train tracks and shots of snowy landscapes, but when you combine the two as perfectly as you have, well it's perfection. LOVE the tiny red pinpoints.
I'm guessing you did some additional processing to get that awesome vintage appearance. Sepia?
This is a total FAV

@pasadenarose - I just saw your question. Yes, it is sepia and then I had to paint in the red lights. Thanks for the fav!
