Went to a baby shower of some good friends today. They had these cute rubber ducks on one of the tables as decoration and gifts. I read that 50mm lenses do well in low light so was able to get some good practice in the low lit room. The tough part was the focus. Couldn’t get both ducks in focus because of my low aperture and didn’t want to use flash. So opted to get the cute little rubber duck in focus.
Having a busy weekend and I'm itching to see everybody's new photos. Hoping to catch up with you all this upcoming week :)

Taking 50 photos with a 50mm lens in the space of 50 days
I was going to say that shooting in low light and being that close is going to result in very little DOF, but looks like you've discovered that for yourself. Great job.
Very nice colours!! Have you experimented with the ISO setting on your camera as well. Comes in handy when you want a little more DOF in low light, just beware of graininess.
@makailsmom - I used 400 ISO here, which is rare for me, I normally use 100 or 200. Next time, I'll give it a try and experiment with higher ISO. Thanks for the tip!
