This water tower is not too far from my home and I finally took the time to take a photo of it. Since I was using my fixed lens and couldn’t physically move backward, had to fill the frame with the water tower. But turns out I like the composition!
I’ve been using my 50mm lens for a straight 25 days now so that means I’ve made it to the halfway point of Project 50mm. Didn’t think I’d make it this far, but after using the lens for such an extended period of time I find that I really like it!
It's a great lens, I took it on holiday in the summer and used it everywhere quite easily. I really like the shallow dof you can create with it! This is very powerful, like the perspective!
