(Day 157) - Bee Catcher

Hung around the park today and decided to try my hand at catching a bee in flight. It was tougher than I thought. There were bees flying this way and that way, which made it tough to get a sharp shot (okay I'll admit it...I was super afraid of getting stung which probably contributed to camera shake)! Eventually, though, captured this little guy with pollen on his legs. I'd rather his wings have a bit more motion but I'm definitely happy with this sharp image on my first try. :)

bees *are* tough to catch in mid-flight. you did a great job! I like how the stamen are reaching out toward the bee.
