(Day 292) - B is for Backlight (and Black & White)!
Today decided to kill two techniques with one stone!
Usually backlighting, or a light source behind the subject, is used to create impressive silhouettes but it also does a great job illuminating transparent subjects. Oftentimes, I like to use the light from my bedroom window and the blinds to create interesting light and patterns.
In addition, I don't do very many black and white photos, but in this case, it really helped the eyes to focus on the patterns in the photo which is what I was going for. ◕‿◕
@dibzgreasley@kerosene - Haha didn't think anyone would catch the tags but glad you did! Thanks so much! I love the way window blinds add neat patterns and perspective, Debs! I happy I did it in b&w too, Caroline!
