Tried to start the month of May with a bang and it looks like all the spring time flowers are going to cooperate with me this month!
I don't photograph the color pink all too often. Perhaps my schoolyard days of "pink is for girls" affects my thinking. However, did you know that in the 19th century, pink was seen as a masculine color? Baby boys often wore white and pink, while girls often wore white and blue. How things change!
Think I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this color this month! :D
I was taught that too, pink is for girls. I teach preschool at church, and this boy loved blue. But then he started asking for pink paper. I asked him what changed his mind. He said "well, I want a manly color, and I know men love pink." So I explained that men like all colors, and if he likes blue, that is a manly color too! He should choose what he likes! This is a beautiful flower picture!! love it.
