(Day 88) - Breaking the Ice

In keeping with my thoughts from yesterday, I now consider the color of the ancient wholly mammoth. Scientists believe that their fur were many variations of brown. One preserved mammoth was found with "strawberry blonde" hair.

Not very close to the hot pink that I'd like to see in ancient creatures but still cool nonetheless! It would have made it extremely easy for archeologists to find them! :D
Ice age!! Funny.

It actually "Mastadon May" here in my neck of the woods. Turns out that a complete skeleton of a mastodon was discovered here when they were digging a hole for a foundation a while back. Fits in quite well with your dinosaur theme!

I love your creativity Chris, I would struggle to do a week of pink without resorting to either flowers or editing....

@stephanies - Thanks so much Stephanie! Tell you the truth, it's not easy. Flowers are the main thing I'm tempted to photograph but I'm trying to add variety so at the beginning of the month I went through all my pink stuff and even bought a few little pink knickknacks. It's working out!
