Since I'm shooting blue all month long, thought it would be cool to take a shot outdoors with my white balance set to tungsten light. Normally this white balance setting adds lots of blue to an image to cool down the light taken under certain light bulbs, which makes the image look normal. However, using it outdoors adds all sorts of blue tones to the image! Perfecto! :)
And as I look at it further, Chris, I'm thinking there's a bit of a bizarre element too -- that's some tree they have growing ON their BALCONY. I wonder how much bigger it can get before it's too big and tall. Maybe the angle is making it seem more than it is, but mighty impressive sight.
@mcsiegle - It's actually the balcony of our home. It's a ficus tree growing right out of my parent's balcony. It has gotten pretty tall but the angle make's it look a tad larger. Funny thing, my dad put a bunch of giant rocks in the pot to keep it from tipping over the edge!
Tell your dad he's got quite a green thumb, and he's a smart man to put those rocks in. Without them I'd hate to see what would happen in a good stiff wind. And again, I love the really saturated blue you have here.
