This is my favorite place to take photos, a patio just outside our living room. The reason why I love this spot so much is because our home blocks sunlight for most of the day. So the patio is almost always in shade, giving me even lighting.
All photos in my Fred's Flowers series were taken here. His backgrounds are usually colorful 22×28 Poster Board purchased at the local dollar store. Sometimes he’s able to hold the flowers on his own. Other times I may use tape to attach them to his hands. He doesn’t seem to mind. :)
Also I have to give props to my dad for making our patio & balcony look nice with the plants and flowers. Thanks dad! :)
I was noticing how nice and pretty your patio is even for starters. Would you do with a piece of posterboard and Fred is amazing. He looks good in all of the shots. It was really nice to see how you have things set up. Thanks for sharing with us Chris
What a lovely place. Our patio has the same shade as you and I must say as a gardener I always long for the sun to come round. But you give the idea of even light a new perspective. A great space for man and frog!
Interesting... I had to laugh about you taping things to Fred.. I use blue tac for 'sticking' things where I want them and for getting things to stand up properly or to prop things up slightly.
