Today we venture away from home to my favorite park to take photos. This is South Gate Park, which is only 10mins away.
I usually come here when I want a more natural setting. Plenty of grass, trees, or different kinds flowers...this place is filled with spots to explore. There's also a small rose garden. They're trimmed right now so maybe later I'll share a photo of that spot.
Anyhoo, many people like to come to this park and rest underneath the shade, very similar to my amphibian friend. :)
Hope you enjoy this week of my five most common places to take photos. :)
What a clever idea you have to go to your favorite places for photos! I suspect you''' be running into your many friends in each place! Quite enjoyed a quick visit with Fred!
Yes, I have enjoyed your pictures very much.. it's really interesting to be able to see where and how you set up your fabulous shots and you have made me think too - always a good thing. :) This park looks and sounds very nice, so lovely to see so much green - the grass here is very muddy (so much rain lately) and the trees are still pretty bare.
This has been a fun week- looking into the making of a Chris Johnson photo! AS they often say, "Location, location, location!" You've got some really nice ones! Fred looks quite Irish in that bed of clover. I guess he's ready to celebrate St. Patrick's Day a bit early. Fun collage!
Thanks so much everyone for the fantastic response to this series. Loved your thought-provoking and funny comments. Having go-to locations helps to make things even more relaxing when you need a good photo.
@stray_shooter - No prob Ron. I'm so appreciative of my photographer friends and other 365ers who share tips & techniques so I'll always feel that sharing makes the community even better. Especially since we all have different interests & styles so nobody shoots completely the same. Plus seeing others improve or try new things (or learning from them) is awesome. The happiness in giving. :)
@dibzgreasley - Thanks! He's pretty mellow but he mighty be planning something sneaky in that froggy head. :P
