I've reached the conclusion of my 7th 365 Project!!! Woo-hoo!! I actually started my 7th project with a new camera, the Pentax K-3ii. I'm so used to it, that I briefly had to learn how to use my old camera again for this shot. Haha!
This was a great year. Probably one of my most creative. Ironically, also had strong creative block some months. Still, I just kept at it and kept shooting everyday. Best of all, though, was you guys. Big, gigantic THANKS for all your great support & sometimes humorous feedback! Truly love putting a smile on your faces. Heard that I even inspired some of my followers to get their very own Legographer! Feels so insanely good to inspire others.
CJ suggested that for next year's project, we switch cameras. Even though he's pretty strong for a little guy, don't think that's gonna work out very well. For one thing, I'm not very good at using his little camera. My shot came out like this: [Click Here]. :P
you are so much fun and such an inspiration - always a giggle, often a chuckle and many outright bursts of laughter that would make a koala fall out of their tree!
love the tiny photo - congrats on a great ending to year 7 and I'm already waiting to see what year 8 will bring!
What can I add to @koalagardens’s and @summerfield’s words? Maybe yes, that this place is special and your creativity is one of the reasons why it is so! Kudos for completing the 7th year and starting the 8th!
Huge congrats on finishing another year - incredible. Your projects and themes are such fun and always raise a grin/smile. Looking forward to seeing your 8th year.
Congratulations on completing your 7th year of this project ! So glad you're starting your 8th tomorrow. You are an inspiration .. please keep doing what your doing, just maybe not with CJ's camera !
You certainly are an inspiration to us all - 7 years - wonderful :) I wish you and CJ a lot of fun as you use your own cameras rather than swapping!!! Thanks for the smiles and giggles!
Congrats on 7 years. I'm glad to know we all need a little nudge in the inspiration department on occasion. Yours never showed! Let the good time roll, on and on!
Wow, 7! Well done on keeping it fresh and creative - would never have guessed you had a block! Your shots always make me smile. Looking forward to your next 365!
Wow! Congratulations on completing year 7! I've viewed so many of your photos on Popular and Trending pages...you are amazingly creative! I recently became interested in "little people" scenes and photos, I've done a couple and look forward to many more...I'm following your project now both for inspiration and enjoyment! :-)
@koalagardens - Thanks you so much!! I didn't realize the range of laughter my photos induce. I'm inspired by you too! So amazing how many ways you're able to photograph your koala family and showcase their different personalities...pretty much all year! By the way, your analogy of a koala laughing so much he falls out of a tree made me chuckle!! :D :D :D
@summerfield - If he lifted it a little higher he'd probably be a pancake now! :D
Thanks as always for the fun comments! I'mma try to get better at keeping up with my followers this year because seeing the creativity in your project always gives me a boost too, Summer!
@domenicododaro - What an incredibly kind thing to say, Domenico. I really do like being here. Such a wealth of talented photographers, like yourself. You're painting series is cracking me up. :)
@dibzgreasley - Thank you Debs!! The theme really are the most fun part, I love the feeling of completing one and looking back to see how the heck I made it. I'm sure you know all about that in your creative monthly themes :D (I gotta catch up on your work!)
@bintal - Haha yeah, CJ's camera is just right for him! Thank you very much, Sylvia. Glad we had a chance to start following each other. I always like seeing the details you find in your photos.
@gilbertwood - It was a creative idea of CJ to swap cameras, just not very practical. Haha. Thank you very, very much Denise! Your comments through the year, much like your photos, are alway filled with joyful fun.
@jesperani - Thanks much Jennifer! I'm glad to know I keep it fresh too. Those creative blocks are tough so I try to keep months when I feel like that simple. Your photos are always so inspiring too! :)
@juhstinfx - Thanks very much dude! Can't believe it's been 7 years. Still remember my first day like it was yesterday. I took a picture of a package of bacon. :) Looking forward to your shots this year too! :D
@stephanies - Big thanks Stephanie for this and all your awesome comments through the year. Here's to a good year for the both of us. By the way, your month of hearts is looking incredible. Will be catching up on it soon! :)
@gaylewood - Thank you, Gayle! There are so many talented photographers on the Popular and Trending pages. I'm so humbled that some of mine actually end up there. Speaking of creativity, you're "little people" are totally awesome!!! Wow!!! What you did with the pretzel blows my mind. Definitely following back for inspiration and enjoyment as well!! 😉
@stray_shooter - CJ probably should have gotten a giant Lego crane for this load. Haha. Thanks a ton, Ron! Alway appreciate your feedback. I really enjoy learning from your technical skills and humor on your project.
@alophoto - Thank you so much!! How exciting to almost wrap up your 6 yr! That's a good question. Think I saw a blog post a few months back asking how long everyone has been doing 365 and pretty sure a few said 10 yrs! We're almost there. ;D
@gardenfolk - Thanks so very much!! And thanks for showing them to your grandsons! That brings a big 'ol smile to my face. Hope to add more next year. In the meantime, I'm gonna try to get better at making time to comment on my followers. The color you bring out in your photos are such a joy to see.
@cjphoto Thank you, Chris! Very kind of you to say that. I do try. I get behind in thanking and commenting too and sometimes only have time to push the star. Not enough hours to play! :)
Welcome to year #8! I know it will be a creative one (wouldn't expect anything less from you!) and I know it will make me smile. Yes, I did go out and find a Lego person, but I find them so attached to you it was hard to adopt one for me. Then, I saw a Fisher Price "Little Person" who was meant to be mine, so who knows what will happen to the Lego person now! LOL Congratulations for 365 days of fun and wishing 365 more in the new project.
@olivetreeann - Thanks Ann!!! Your support through the year has been such a boost to me! Haha, CJ's created quite the little legacy here. But I'm sure you can find ways of being creative with your lego dude in your wonderful style. I just love seeing their adventures and what others come up with. But how awesome that you found a Fisher Price "Little Person". Totally looking forward to his adventures this year!
Sorry I missed this in my birthday madness last week. Congratulations on completing your year and good luck with your new year. I am glad you are not quitting. You are so creative and bring so much to us with your genius
@grammyn - No worries Katy, totally understand! Thank you soooo much!! There were lots of things going on for me last week too. Congrats on another year of life! I hope to be as spunky, friendly, and kind as you as I move through the years. It's always a blast seeing your photos and adventures on your project and having you around on mine. Wishing you many more years of happy life. :)
love the tiny photo - congrats on a great ending to year 7 and I'm already waiting to see what year 8 will bring!
you are such a funny guy. i needed a magnifying glass to see the photo you took using CJ's camera.
Thanks as always for the fun comments! I'mma try to get better at keeping up with my followers this year because seeing the creativity in your project always gives me a boost too, Summer!
