Meet the delta dawn bougainvillea. Yellow is pretty rare color of bougainvillea to find around here. Normally I may find them growing next to orange ones as these are normally bred from other hues of orange bougainvilleas. :)
i love bougainvillas. where i come from they come in so many colours - white, red, fushia, light pink, yellow, purple, violet, etc. i once visited an old home that was built during the spanish era and it was surrounded by large and tall flowering bougainvillas in all sorts of colours, i almost cried from giddiness! but of course, i didn't cry, it would've been foolish to do so. i love the dof you got here, cj. what a lovely photo.
This is really pretty. I don't think I have seen a yellow one. I took some pictures in Mexico the other day that had pink and white flowers on the same plant.
@summerfield - Thanks you sooo much Summer! I constantly amazed at how many colors this plant comes in. That sounds so beautiful!!! I was looking for a home like the one you mentioned covered in them but it had just been pruned so next time.
