The last image of my 8th 365 Project. What a tough year this has been, not just for my project but for me emotionally as well. Had some very depressing moments this past year. But my goal was to finish what I started. I did it, which does make me feel really good.
Despite my haphazard presence this year, thanks once again for sticking with me and for your always encouraging comments. Even when I got behind on posting, you all were always positive which made me feel much better.
I struggled to decide if I wanted to do another year or not. My goal has always been to do 10 years of this project. I'm so close. So next year, my buddy CJ the Legographer is gonna give me some extra motivation. We shall see how it goes. Many smiles should be in store!
With renewed conviction...365 more photos to go. :)
Congratulations, I haven't looked, but was this massive upload taken on different days?
Sorry to read about your struggles with health, hope there is stuff near you (meds, people, hobbies) to carry you at bad times and link arms good times. See you during next year J. X
This last shot is absolutely beautiful! It has been great looking at your amazing photos and I look forward to another year.
Good on you pushing yourself through your depression and being able to finish what you started.
Congratulations on completing 9 yrars. That is a very impressive accomplishment. I'm sorry you have been suffering through depresdion. I do hope Cj will be able to give you encoursgement. And hopefully 365 will be able to do so too. I always enjoy your photos.
It shows great strength of character continue in the face of adversity and l know l speak for many when I say how glad l am that you perservered. You have talent and a gift that is a blessing when you share it with others Chris. Keep up the good work
I like this; your focus is impeccable. Happy to see you still on 365. Besides wonderful photography and learning opportunities, this is a very caring community. Looking forward to your future photos.
Well, where the heck have you been my friend? ;-) Yeah, I should talk. I dropped the ball way back when, but like you have renewed enthusiasm for grabbing the fun shots and sharing them here. Congrats on eight years - that is most impressive!
I absolutely love the simple beauty of this photo. You have a refreshing, unique approach to your photography that is very special. Keep on keeping on.
Well, now I know why I may have missed you- I am truly sorry to hear that it has been a difficult year for you. But like Katy said, it takes a lot of character and will to move past those daily struggles and "get outside yourself" to feel better and refreshed. I am so glad you will still be here because I find your creativity inspiring and delightful! (I hope CJ will be visiting with the Paper Clip Family this year!). Thanks to you I found a legographer, but then really felt it was your trademark and have not used her much. Instead I found another "little me" in a Fisher Price collection and she has appeared a couple times so far. Please know that you're not alone in your struggles and that if your 365 friends can be of help in any way you just let us know! Congrats and bravo!!!! for finishing year 8- and hoping 9 will be the best yet!
Hi Chris stumbled across you on PP and just read your story at the end of year 8. Totally empathetic with you. I struggled so much last year with depression... photography is a wonderful place to seek solace from the dark head space x
