(Day 262) - Land of Hollywood

CJ is back in Lake Hollywood Park. This is one of the most popular spots to get a photo of the iconic Hollywood Sign.

It was first erected in 1923. Did you know the sign used to read HOLLYWOODLAND and was designed to advertise the housing development in the hills? It was only supposed to be up for a year and a half, but after the boom of American cinema, the sign became an important symbol. In 1949, LAND was removed to reflect the full district of Hollywood.

CJ was happy to find this small tree stump to help him get a shot of the famous sign, but I think he wants to get closer. 🎥😎
Terrific iconic capture CJ :) Thanks for the history too!

Love how cj's pants balance the color of the trees. he is always dressed so appropriately. do you think he'd be available as a personal stylist? the diagonal sweeping lines of hills and shadows aren't too shabby either!
