CJ is much closer to the airplanes today! This small park is next door to LAX. It's called the Airplane Landing View Point (also known as Sepulveda & 92nd).
Definitely one of the best place to watch LAX planes. They fly overhead so closely and so loudly. Amusingly, when a jumbo plane came in, it brought so much wind that CJ went flying! Thankfully, he was okay but I had to help him keep his footing a bit better.
If you're ever in LA and want to photograph airplanes, this is another highly recommended place to do so. 🛬😄
This is a terrific collage, how neat to see all the airplanes! Right now I work at a hospital not too far from Midway Airport in Chicago. Depending on the weather and wind, you can see the airplanes as they come into position to make the landing. So fun to watch!
