Today, CJ the Legographer got lost while taking photos in a vast forest. Then, he suddenly saw eyes staring at him! Happily, they were just my friendly eyes.
In recent months, I've grown my hair out a bit. I've worn it short most of my childhood (like in my profile pic). CJ decided to copy my style with his very own afro...while exploring mine!
By the way, after almost 9 years, this is probably the first time I'm partly in one of my photos. Wonder if CJ will ever get that elusive full selfie of me? 😉
@sunnygirl - Thank you so much!! CJ looking at me was actually a happy accident. He kept falling forward so I had to balance him very carefully. Eventually he settled but leaned forward a bit giving a great connection. :)
Chris, how wonderful to meet you at last!! Hope CJ didn't leave any blu-tac on uour head!! 7 days to 10 yesrs??! Please do 11, I'll miss your wit, enthusiasm and advice ( so purely selfish reasons!!)
@30pics4jackiesdiamond - Aww shucks, thanks Jackie. Thankfully no blu-tac was needed, that would have been a hassle to get out, like gum! 😝 Well, this is my 9th year currently. My 10th will be my next project and yep I'm definitely staying a 10th year. Your kind words mean a lot, thanks again! :)
My my what big eyes...oh wait, that's the wrong story! This is so much fun- even though we don't see all of you (if I can manage a selfie or two even though I hate them and look horrible in them- you can do a full selfie too!) what we do see is great! Now I know you have every possible outfit and hair style CJ could ever need or want! So glad you're staying on- your pictures always make me smile.
Ok- a fun story which will totally age me. My roommate second year of under grad days was a lovely young woman named Pia. She was tall, slender and so pretty. She had a huge afro which she woke up at 6 AM every day to comb out. We were so different! She had an electric blue velvet bedspread, brightly colored beads hanging by her bed and a huge poster of a man in electric blue bell bottoms with an afro the size of hers. I had a paisley bedspread, posters of Winnie the Pooh and Auguste Renoir on the wall and a stuffed bear that had been my mother's on my bed. We were such an unlikely pair but we got along so well! Your selfie just brought back such good memories of her!

Hahahaha thanks for sharing your detailed story with me. It gave me a big smile! Just imaging her afro and the difference between you two is so funny. Kudos to her for maintaining her afro so early, every day. I do similar but don't wear it too high because it does take a lot of work. I'm so happy CJ and I could bring back your memories of Pia and her glorious 'fro. :)

I worried when you said "only 7 more" to nine years but I was relieved to read comments and see that you will stay for year ten. Whew!

My gosh, I have missed so much. I really need to spend more time looking at my friends' albums and commenting and posting photos etc etc. So good to finally have you in the photo -- even just 1/2 your face is a treat. Sometime you should give us the other 1/2 and then we could paste them together to get a whole Chris. :-)
