This week, going to have a bit of simple fun with the Lego models I created.
As a kid, there were many movies I watched over and over again. One had a musical scene where a happy bird landed on the character's finger whistling to the tune. I would often try to imitate it outside...but these serious city birds just ignored me. π€·ββοΈ
At least CJ found himself a melodious feathered friend. Maybe one day, I'll find one too! πΆππ¦
CJ DOES look happy to have a bird friend singing! Lovely softness to your scene overall, with the background featuring as an important component in the scene.
Thanks everybody for the awesome comments!! I was so into imagining the scene, didn't even realize how big the bird is! Good thing he's friendly!
Thanks for the compliments about the background too. It was originally white but I've actually learned how to add gradients behind my subjects in Photoshop.
I'm still learning as it's not easy to keep it looking natural (well, natural enough). But glad to know it looks appealing for these simple shots. Just a little something new I'm trying out.
Nice work with the background! Are you thinking of when the robin lands on Mary Poppins' hand and sings a duet with her? I always wanted a Robin to do that for me. But for some reason they always flew away. They weren't interested I guess! Clever scene!
@olivetreeann - That's EXACTLY the scene I was referring too! Good catch, Ann! Hahaha. Maybe a spoonful of sugar will help the birds want to sing with us. ;)
