(Day 331) - Giraffe's Space

I know it's called negative space for a reason but, to be honest, I can't quite understand why these kinds of photos feel me with such a positive feeling. Like seriously, photos with purposeful negative space give me as much satisfaction as some get from popping bubble wrap or listening to the rain.

It probably helps when the photo also contains one of the most adorable giraffes. 😁
What an interesting observation. I agree completely! ...and who doesn't love an adorable giraffe?!

LOVE this - instant fav. And I enjoyed your thought provoking narrative - I am drawn to minimalistic photos with negative space - for the most part, they feel peaceful to me.

You are right the giraffe is adorable. The negative space and minimalist approach allow us to focus on the subject only.

I think that you are so right about 'purposeful negative' space. Your giraffe is most adorable.

Maybe it’s because photos with large negative space often are minimalist as well. Love the orange with the yellow.
