A little while ago, I bought this awesome Gumby figure for my dad. Gumby was one of his favorite tv shows when he was a kid. The show was created with stop-motion clay animation and became a cultural icon.
It's amazing to think how much animation has changed today, especially due to computers. Still, there's this beloved charm in classic shows. π
I like the simplicity of is and of some of the recent photos.
As for the stop motion animations, i love to watch videos of how they are shot. I find them fascinating.
Itβs kind of like going back to vinyl records. The new technology can do amazing things but there is a certain charm to the older, more βhandmadeβ processes.

OHhhhhhh- Gumby! That was one of my favorite shows too! Boy I wish I had his timeless look. Well, except for the green color. That might cause some alarm. (o;
