This male woodpecker was giving me the eye, but he didn't fly away. I was stalking a robin when I saw him on the bird feeder. He would eat seeds at the feeder for awhile and then he would take one back to the tree to eat. He did this several times. The cats weren't around to meow and scare him away.
@clarissajohal They can get to the top of the trees so fast just climbing. One day I spent 30 minutes trying to get a picture of one. I followed him from tree to tree and I finally gave up. More ammunition for the neighbors to think I'm nuts. Why is she walking around and around the yard? LOL
