Green Sprinkles by cjwhite

Green Sprinkles

More sunshine today. The goldenrod was a busy place. There were honeybees, wasps, beetles, and spiders. There were also some of my favorite little sweat bees. They're called Metallic Green Bees. They're bright and shiny.

Thank you for your kind comments and faves for yesterday's Milkweed Planet pic!!! :0)
I've never seen a green bee. Wow, fantastic capture!

He's cool and love your angle/DOF. I first saw one of these in a hibiscus flower back in July I think it was. I went to shoot a pic of it and it was inside. I had no idea what it was, did some research to find it was a type of sweat bee. Another great find! How are you still finding all the insects? Down here in GA it seems too cold and like they are mostly gone....
