Why did the Robin cross the road? by cjwhite

Why did the Robin cross the road?

This pic has a lot of noise. Fading light is not a photographer's friend! I wish I could take it over in better light, because I like the robin on the concrete curb. :0)
He was looking for the light for you to get a better picture of him!

I LOVE this capture ..the pov is wonderful. The robin is so beautiful ...lovely colors. You're so right about lighting ...without the sun around here (nothing but gray days for weeks) I can't get the shots that I want. You got a great one here.

I think it looks rather nice, and I am envious that you managed to capture a shot of a Robin. We usually must wait until early Spring.

your robin looks like a robin...mine still looks a bit like something else to me.

A nice capture. He posed well.

Good detail for fading light. Birds seem to be the subject of choice these days - aren't they fun to watch? Your photo sort of adds life to his pose.

If you hadn't said it, I wouldn't have noticed. The subject and comp were the only thing that caught my eye.

Good capture. One thing I would change about winter is more light!

It turned out quite lovely. Better light would have helped, but you certainly did the best with what you had. His red chest is beautiful.
