The Moon and Jupiter

One of my facebook friends posted last night that Jupiter could be seen near the moon. I went outside in the cold to see it. It was nice and clear, so I had to try for a pic.

This is handheld with at least one cat sitting on my foot. :0)

I had a mind to take the same photo after seeing the 10:00 news, it is really nice. The weatherman said you could see a ring around the moon, I wasn't compelled enough to brave the subzero temperature to take a picture. Glad you got it!
