Neat shot! When I was little, my father used to give us little wasps as pets in match boxes. He tied a thread around their waists so they could fly around attached to the match box. We would fed them sugar water and release them after a day or so. (It still seems cruel to me now, with my 21st century, animal rescuer perspective, and I guess it was.) The key was to look at the wasp's face. If the face was red, it was a female that would sting you. If not, it was a male and harmless. So you seem to have a boy here! Brings back memories!
