I spent the day at my Mom's house. It was a gorgeous day with blue skies and fluffy clouds.
This Redbud tree was covered with carpenter bees. I was a little afraid of them at first, because they are big and there were lots of them. When I realized they were to busy to notice me, I relaxed and had fun. Taking pics keeps me sane.:0)
Thank you so much for your kind comments on yesterday's pic!!! :0)
Great photo! I can't get over how green and lush it is where you are - it is still winter here! So nice to see these photos, they are making me anticipate spring much more.
Great pic Carolyn. I've been taking photos with my 50mm and just today figured out that I really have to take pictures with a higher fstop if I want a deeper depth of focus. The first three months of having it I was getting a really really shallow DOF which threw the pictures off. You seem to have no problem with this though. Great pic.
Very nice, my redbud is about done. Bees and hummingbirds enjoyed the blooms for a couple of weeks. Congrats overcoming your fears, I've never had a nectaring bee get upset over an overly friendly macro lens. :)
Just Beautiful Carolyn! Your focus is superb!! Bravo on Overcoming the BEE Fear!! When i am snapping photo's i forget about the world...i know what you mean!! And being able to concentrate on such beauty and life makes it so enjoyable!!!
