Can you find the scary face? by cjwhite

Can you find the scary face?

It's not the Western Leafcutting bee that's scary! It's the face on the Northern Crab spider!!!

It takes a lot to give me goosebumps in the insect world, but when I got this pic on the computer and saw the face, I got them! I see eyes, nose, open mouth with tongue, and even hair.

Thank you so much for your comments, views, and faves on my recent pics!!! :0)
Cool shot nice color and awesome focus.

@hollandcrew Thank you! Have you seen a spider like this one? If you do, I would love to see a real macro of it.

Great timing and focus with the bee. Yes, the spider is scary. I even see a scary face in the flower. I really have an imagination.

Now him, you don't need to send west! What a fantastic capture. I love that bee in flight - your timing is always so wonderful with your shots. Like yesterday, I KNOW I haven't seen a spider like that before. That's some major focus you have on him.

Oh and I totally love your focus on all this with the bee in flight...awesome.
August 18th, 2012
What a catch! ----2 for the 'price' of one ;-) I love that little face hiding in the flower. I guess he wasn't too rattled about the bee being so close.

Yikes. . .you're right! This is the kind of shot that would send me running, maybe as fast as your almost-stepping-on-the-snake shot!
