I survived my first day at my new job! When I got home, I had 30 minutes give or take of sunlight left. I went out with fingers crossed that I would find a decent pic. It has turned really cold here! I was lucky to find this little Field Sparrow. I think it was cold, because it let me get fairly close. :0)

He was waiting for you! Really does look like a winter shot - we've only been cold in the early mornings and after the sun goes down - but hasn't been much to shoot in between. Wish I could get those birds to cooperate like you do. Love these almost as much as your butterflies.
Maybe he was frozen solid! Haha just kidding! I love his color pattern on his fave and head! It has gotten cold here! Brrr! Are you working just to get heist as present money or something more permanent?
