Morning visitor

I can see my birdhouse from the kitchen window. This Starling was perched on it for awhile. I decided to try to sneak the window open for a pic. This meant moving several plants, including a cactus. Ouch! It stayed for several pics, which is good, because the rest of my pics from today were less than stellar.

Thank you for your kind comments on yesterday's pics! I'm going to post a cardinal pic from yesterday in my other album. I need a bright color fix. :0)

Great photo of the colors of the starling. Use to place them in the same category as crows as far as photo ops, but then found out how colorful they really are. You've caught it perfectly.
