I think the female house sparrows are more attractive than the males. It is usually the other way around with birds.

Wonderful close up of this. We have house sparrows every year nesting in our eaves outside. I love hearing them chirp, but sometimes they get angry when we're out there. I love the colors you were able to capture, even the bit of yellow on the beak.
