I captured a new bird for my birthday today. This is a Cooper's Hawk. The sun was going down and I wasn't sure if I could get a decent shot. I couldn't hide from him either. I had to walk slowly through an open field to get pics. I did get several shots, before he grabbed his prey and flew away. I'm not sure what he caught. I really don't want to know. They eat mostly smaller birds.
