I've been serious about photography for quite a while. Did my time in black and white darkrooms, and E6 slide processing. Photoshop and Lightroom have changed everything.

Just joined the 365project recently. I really like the challenge of doing photography every day. Posting one photo per day forces me to concentrate more on that one image. I really like seeing to work of, and hearing the thoughts, of other serious photographers. It is so much more rewarding that slamming together a few dozen photos into a slide show that no one really wants to see.

I would guess one of my favorite photographers is Henri Cartier Bresson, an early photo journalist who entitled one of his books, the Decisive Moment. The title pretty much says it all.
