During my walk with my husband on Guincho beach, I tried to find letters to write the name LOVE, here what I found !
Sad happening today : while I was taking pictures of this, we guess something bad had just happened on the beach, a young woman was crying, people were running everywhere, staring the ocean...
Few minutes later we saw policemen, "first-aid" workers then a boat going left and right behind the beach, then 2 small planes flew over the beach....
A young kite surfer had disappeared...we were all chocked, after 2 hours everything stopped suddenly.
We didn't understand the situation, I would feel obscene to ask...
We are just hopping the young man has been able to reach another beach as they didn't find anything ( him or the surf)....we talk a lot with our daughters during the diner, they did believe he's safe, that will be the official version for us ! I don't want to think of the worse option...
@maggiemae no shark Maggiemae but a lot of jellyfishes ( not lethal but painful) and big waves! Beaches are full of surfer and kite surfer and some courageous waves-jumpers.... I'm a Mediterranean girls... Ocean is too agitated for me !
Well done! I have decided that I need to go to Portugal for more than a flying visit (literally - I have only landed at Lisbon airport and then transferred onwards)
Sad story, and hope they found the missing person somewhere else.
