Freiburg-im-Brisgau cathedral. by cocobella

Freiburg-im-Brisgau cathedral.

My husband and I have been to Freibourg-im-Brisgau to spend the day, a walk in the town, a lunch and we’ve been to the cemetery where both his parents are now.
My father in law was Spanish and my mother in law German but they both wanted to be together and had chosen Freiburg in Brisgau (Germany) where my mother in law was from and where they met, as their last “home”, despite the fact that they lived together in France, it was a bit complicated to reunite them because my father in law died in 2014 in south of France and my mother in last August in north-est of France, but my husband managed to respect their last wishes. We had a ceremony last September in Germany.... at least everybody was European... my husband was happy today to have accomplish what they wanted, respect to him !

Love the architecture of these old churches. What is the building on the right in red? So unusual, like it a lot!

A lovely story. I'm glad for him that it all worked out. The scene in the photo is nice. The building is ornate and old. The town looks to be having a market.
