I found this bug , don’t know the name in English , in French we call it « vrillette » it’s a bad sign to find this inside your house if you also notice very small holes in your wooden furnitures : because even if it looks like a small ladybug it is not a lady bug , it’s a wood eating insect. I think I will have to buy special products to kill them ...
@kwind I put her in the garden but I’m going to have to introduce a special liquid in every tiny holes (2mm) in my furnitures to kill these wood eating bugs! A pain !
@mona65 thanks Mona for the reading, I found this tiny beetle ( 2mm) on my curtain so I think you found the right species, so now I’ve got two problem : these eating my curtains and the others eating my furnitures ( because I also have found fresh tiny holes in them ) the quarantine can go on , ill be busy at home chasing them !
For the carpet bug try Bio Kill from BCM Innovation GmbH, Mönchaltdorf. You will get it in a normal Swiss Drugstore. It is no danger for all warm blooded animals. Humans, cats, dogs and so on. But be carefull, as it harms all insects, bees, etc. and also be careful if you have an aquarium. For the wood eating insects, its a bit more difficult. But if you see fresh holes, you can try to inject it with a seringue. If you need more help, send me your e-mail in one of my older pics. I would delete it immediately and could contact you. I keep my fingers crossed, that you get rid of them soon. Regards, "the critter lover"
@mona65 thank you so much Mona for taking time to recommend me the good product : I’m gonna buy what you tell me for the carpet eater ( thanks for the BIO label because we have cat and dog)
For the wood eaters, I already have them and I have to check if I still have the “special product” (it is sold with a very thin pipe in order to inject in the small holes).
Thanks again and I keep your proposition of help in mind if I don’t find the German translation for my French products ( my German sucks !)
@cocobella Je t'en prie, Corinne. I really hope and have my fingers crossed, that you get rid of your subtenants quickly and before they have eaten up your whole furniture and curtains. ;-) Have a nice Sunday. ♥
Love your series too.
