My caddy at the supermarket with in the middle my “to buy list”, with a “stay safe and je t’aime maman” from Léa, she’s cute

@filsie65 I don’t think but I am French, my husband half German half French, and we are living in the German speaking part of Switzerland .... so our kids have been to international schools (full English teaching) ... are you still following me ? So I can say my kids speak “globish” : a lot of English with a bit of French and a touch of German ! 😂
@cocobella Ah I see! I wanted to send a 'take care' or 'stay safe' message to my French friend but every way I composed it, it sounded like an ominous warning rather than a kind wish...! Saw this and wondered if it was already 'understood'. Your English is perfect every time, anyone would think you a native English speaker! :)
@filsie65 I think French people have improved their skills in English lately , and we are using a lot of English words/expressions (effects of globalization) so they could understand it ! 😉 but if you want to impress them you can say “prenez bien soin de vous” it means the same !
Thanks for the kind words about my English, my daughters are (very often) making fun of my mistakes and my strong French accent .... I’m going to make them read your comment ! ☺️

Thanks for the phrase.
Keep safe. 😊
